Bio
Family matters are more than legal disputes—they’re about people, emotions, and creating a foundation for healing and growth. What makes family law unique to me is that it’s not just about navigating legal processes; it’s about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives during some of their most challenging times.
Recognizing the impact of a family law case stretches far beyond my office and the legal paperwork we prepare. Our work shapes how families move forward with their lives, and that’s a responsibility I take seriously. As a zealous and tenacious advocate, I am passionate about fighting for what’s right and fair for my clients and their families. While I can be unwavering and fierce when the situation demands it, I understand the importance of peaceful, constructive resolutions, and I’m a strong proponent of alternative dispute resolution methods like mediation and collaborative law when they are in the best interest of my clients and their children. I approach every case with a level-headed, holistic mindset, always considering the emotional, practical, and legal dimensions of each family’s unique situation and the goal of each client I serve. As your attorney, my focus is to help you reach a resolution that allows you to move forward with hope and optimism and without the weight of the divorce process.
On a personal note, I am a Charlotte native who received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law. Outside of the office, I am a proud Guardian Ad Litem Volunteer and Counsel for Children’s Rights Attorney Volunteer. I am passionate about animal rights and environmental issues. I volunteer with the Charlotte Humane Society and ocean clean-up missions whenever I can. Outside of work and volunteering, if I could, I would spend all my spare time at the beach or in the water. I also love to read, paint, travel with my husband, and spend time with my two fur babies, Jeremy and Kyle.
